You can embed a published or unpublished item (Draft or Submitted) in a page. Preview the page to verify that the embedded item displays properly. Publishing an item with an embedded draft or submitted item will publish those items as well. Those embedded items will then be displayed on the live page where it is embedded.

In the Wrapper Editor, select a wrapper and select Edit Source.

Select Insert Component.

In the Component Type field, select Embed Content and select OK.

Select Embed an item from: CMS and select Choose Item.

Select an "embedded item" extended type, such as a video (Image or File base types cannot be embedded).

Choose a single display template to use when rendering the embedded item. The menu includes any existing template(s) for the content type of the selected item.

Complete the necessary fields, and select OK.
