Donation Forms Source Code

Choose one of the options below to use source code in your donation forms. The first option creates a URL link on the donation form, and the source code is captured when a constituent selects the link. In the second option, the default source code is captured when a constituent submits a donation form.

• Use variables in a URL: Insert a link to your donation form to define special variables and generate a source code when selected. See Add default source and subsource code values in donation form links.

• Enter values in the donation form: Enter default source code and subsource code values on the Identify Donation Form process page. See Configure Interaction Settings.

Note: When both methods are used, the source codes in a URL (first option) is used instead of those in a donation form (second option).
