Components

Note: The components available to you depend on your site's setup, available resources, and the permissions assigned to your security group.

You can add published components — such as action alerts, surveys, or reusable content blocks — using either the WYSIWYG editor or the plain text editor.

In the WYSIWYG Editor:

  • When you insert a component in WYSIWYG mode, it appears as a labeled box with a colored background and an icon, making it easy to identify and manage visually.

  • You can select the component and use standard cut, copy, and paste options to reposition or remove it.

In the Plain Text Editor:

  • In plain text mode, components appear as tag code (e.g., `[[Component:12345]]`).

  • This view is especially useful for precise placement or when working with large components like surveys, as it allows you to move the tag without the visual bulk of the full component display.

Tip: Some components support property editing. If available, you can access these settings by right-selecting the component.
