WYSIWYG Editor

The WYSIWYG editor includes toolbars similar to those you see in other word processing applications. Let's briefly review those and look at some key features in more detail.

Tip: You can create your content in the WYSIWYG editor and customize your HTML and CSS code by selecting the Source Code icon source code icon from the WYSIWYG toolbar.

Add and Format Text

To add text, type directly into the editor or paste it from another application. Use the Paste as Plain text iconPaste as Text icon to strip formatting when needed.

Note: When you paste content from Microsoft Word, styles and embedded media (like images or videos) will be removed. Be sure to reinsert any images manually by selecting the Image icon Image icon.

Text formatting options include:

  • Bold, Italic, Underline

  • Bulleted and Numbered Lists

  • Text and Background Color

  • Alignment and Indentation

  • Clear Formatting

  • Undo and Redo

  • Spell Check

  • Select All

  • Horizontal divider line

Add and Format Images

Insert or Upload an Image

  1. Place your cursor where the image should appear.

  2. Select the Image icon Image icon.

  3. Enter the image URL or select Browse Image Library.

  4. Configure image settings.

  5. Select Insert.

Edit an Image

  1. Right-select the image.

  2. Select Image.

  3. Enter adjustments and Save.

Add and Format Tables

Insert a Table

  1. Place your cursor where the table should appear.

  2. Select the Table icon.

  3. Select the number of columns and rows to include.

Edit Table Rows and Cells

Select a cell in the table to delete the table or edit table properties, rows, and columns.

Modify Table Structure

Select cells and right-select to:

  • Insert a row or column

  • Remove a row or column

  • Merge cells

  • Split cells

  • Edit cell properties

Insert Links

You can link to donation forms, events, surveys, eCommerce products, TeamRaiser pages, and more.

  1. Select the link text and then the Link iconLink icon.

  2. Select a resource or enter the destination URL and other details.

  3. Select Insert, then Close.

Insert Anchors

  1. Select the text where you want the anchor.

  2. Select the Anchor icon Anchor icon.

  3. Name the anchor and select Insert.

View visual cues for hidden items

Some elements, like anchors or table borders, may not be visible in your final content. Use the Visual Aid iconVisual Aid icon to toggle the visibility of these hidden items while editing.

Insert Components, Personalization, and Conditionals

Place the cursor where you want to insert the element. Select the Component icon Components, Personalize IconPersonalize, or Conditional Icon Conditional icon.
