Insert a Web Link
You can use the WYSIWYG content editor to link to another website. You can also to link to an email address, an FTP address, or an anchor (bookmark) that you have placed elsewhere on the same page or in another document. The link tool provides many advanced features related to link appearance and behavior.
Insert a web link:

Type the text you want to use for the link.

Highlight the text.

Click
, Insert Link.

In Link URL:

Link to external site: enter the URL for the site to which you are linking. If you want the page to open in a specific location, append the URL with the anchor name, such as #top. For example:
http://myOrgSite.org/homepage#top

Link to Luminate-hosted site: Click Browse Links or Browse CMS Links to choose the page to which you want to link.

(For Luminate-hosted sites only , Optional) Select an Anchor from the defined anchors list to insert the “#BookmarkName” string in the Link URL field.

Type a Title to display when a mouse hovers over the link. This is required for accessibility compliance.

Click Insert to return to the WYSIWYG content editor where the selected text indicates an active link.
Note: If you do not begin the URL with the appropriate protocol (such as mailto:
for an email address link, or http://
for a Website), a confirmation popup will open offering to insert the correct prefix.
Note: If you are creating a link to an internal anchor on the same page, you do not need to supply a URL. Refer to Insert an Anchor to Jump to a Section of a Page.

Select the link.

Click
, Insert Link.

In the Insert Link window, edit the URL.

Click Update.
Note: If you specified source or subsource codes in your donation form, you can edit the codes by selecting the link and clicking , Insert Link, or by right-clicking the link and selecting the Insert/Edit Link on the shortcut menu.
