Email Tracking Report Columns
Note: The Email Tracking and Email Analysis reports rely on data from Email Classic which has been deprecated.
The Email Tracking Report displays in the Report Viewer with the report label across the top and the Report Date timestamp immediately below it. If you have not entered a label, the system uses the report name (Email Tracking Report). The Email Tracking report columns are explained below.

| Delivery Information | Targeted - The number of recipients.
Skipped - The number of recipients that the system ignored because they have opted out of receiving emails or have a previously known bad email address (that was hard bounced). Pushed - The number of emails sent out. Bounced - The number of emails that were sent out but not received (both the hard and soft bounced emails are included in this count. Net Sent - The number of emails that were pushed and have not bounced, and the percentage of the targeted recipients this represents. |
| Bounce Information | Failed Soft Bounces - The number of emails that intended recipients may have not received due to a temporary condition (such as recipient mailbox is full, recipient’s ISP is unable to accept email at this time, and so on) and the percentage of the targeted recipients this represents. Although the mail server (not the Email application) determines the number of attempts that it will make to send soft bounced emails, the mail server does notify the Email application each time a unique email is soft bounced so it can count it as a soft bounce.
Failed Hard Bounces - The number of emails that intended recipients will not receive due to bad email addresses (for example, incorrect name or invalid ISP) and the percentage of the targeted recipients this represents. By default, when the mail server returns a hard-bounced email, the system typically attempts to send it one more time before the email address is marked and counted as a Hard Bounce. Although the attempt interval is configurable, it must be cleared by Support because of the burden that resending emails may place on the system. |
| Response Information | Unique Messages Opened - The number reflecting the first time each recipient opens the message (subsequent opens are not included in this count) and the percentage of the targeted recipients this represents.
Unique Select-Throughs - The number reflecting the first time each recipient selected through a link (subsequent selects on the same link are not included in this count) and the percentage of the targeted recipients this represents. Total Select-Throughs - The total number of times recipients selected links in the email (which covers both first time, or unique, and subsequent click-throughs) and the percentage of the targeted recipients this represents. Forwarded Select-Throughs - The number of times recipients who selected through also forwarded the email to another email address, and the percentage of the targeted recipients this represents. Unsubscribes - The number of times that recipients unsubscribed from email and the percentage of the targeted recipients this represents.
