Select TeamRaiser Event Options
Event Options determine what participants can customize and how to collect gifts.
Tip: You can override default settings by accessing options under Related Actions.
If you also want to offer products or services for purchase, such as a t-shirt, set up the eCommerce upsell options.
Go to Fundraising > TeamRaiser.
In the Action column of the appropriate event, click Edit.
From the steps on the left, click Select Event Options.
Select event options
For Personal Page Customization, select an option to determine to what extent a participant can customize a page or not at all.
For Participant Center Gift Status, select Yes to enable participants to view the monetary gifts that have been recorded but not received in person.
Note: If this option is not selected, unconfirmed gifts will not display in the Participant Center gift list.
For Participant Fundraising Goal, click Yes to allow participants to set their own personal goal during registration.
For Suggested Participant Fundraising Goal, optionally enter a minimum goal amount for participants.
For Suggested Team Fundraising Goal, optionally enter a minimum goal amount for team captains to target when forming teams.
For Interest Categories, select the web content options to forward to people who register for this event.
For Participant Center for this TeamRaiser, select the appropriate Participant Center for participants to use.
For Public Event Type, select the event type to display on user-facing pages.
Note: The PUBLIC_EVENT_TYPES_ENABLED Site Option must be enabled to view the Public Event Type.
For Event Affiliation, select Yes if this will be a sub-event affiliated with a larger event.
For Registration Limit Type, select:
Nonefor no limits on registrations or participation types.
Limit total registrations for the event to limit and enter maximum number of slots for the event.
Limit registrations for each participation type to specify a maximum number of registrations for each participation type
Note: When you update the limit for an event or a participation type, the system recalculates the number of participants that count toward the limit. For example, if the original limit is 100, and 100 people register but 5 cancel, the limit remains the same even though the count becomes 95. If you update the limit to 96 or higher, participants can continue to register because the recalculation identified 95 registrants.
Click Save.
Next, consider and set the options available under Related Actions.
