Donation Campaigns
Donation Campaigns are a series of related donation forms used to monitor fundraising activity and statistics for a specific purpose.
Donation forms in a campaign share a common purpose, (like membership, or team fundraising activity), and common attributes (such as a Merchant Account to process funds, fundraising goal, large gift notifications, honor gifts, and premiums).
About Campaigns
Campaign attributesCampaigns attributes can change at any time. These include:
Name, Description, Type, Security Category, Merchant Account, Goal, optional Maximum Donor Amount, Large Gift Groups, and Email Notifications
Organize campaigns using a Campaign Type.
A campaign's Merchant Account processes all gifts collected from any donation form in the campaign.
Set maximum donation restrictions for political campaignsPolitical campaigns or other opportunities that restrict donors in the amount they can give can set a maximum amount allowed on the giving level.
If a donor enters too large an amount, a message prompts the donor to enter a lesser amount up to the maximum amount.
Track donorsTrack donors by placing donors in a group. For example, you can set up a group specifically for donors who give more than a certain amount (referred to as Large Gifts).
Notification lists can alert your staff when a donor:
Honors another person with the gift
Selects a premium product or service with the gift
Makes a gift as part of a membership drive
