Collect Payments

After you sign in to MobilePay Terminal and connect to your payment device, start collecting payments from the Payment screen.

  1. Under Amount, enter an amount or choose a default option.

    Tip: To edit default amounts, select Settings from the app's menu.

  2. Select Collect payment.

  3. To email a receipt, enter the cardholder's name, email, and billing address. Add a comment if needed, then select Continue.

  4. Tip: Contactless cards and mobile wallets may not provide cardholder data. Complete these fields to save cardholder information.

  5. Complete the payment:

    • Physical terminal — Insert the card in the chip reader, tap the card, or swipe (if applicable).

    • Tap to Pay on your device — Ask the payer to tap or hold their contactless payment method at the top of your phone.

      Note: Verify the card has the EMV® Contactless Indicator — only contactless cards are supported for Tap to Pay.

      Note: MobilePay Terminal supports Tap to Pay only on iPhone for U.S. accounts.
