Preview Outreach Emails
The email sent to prospective Nonprofit Administrators vary based on the outreach reason given. Examples of each are below.
Tip: You can preview the email to be sent when adding a new prospect through the New Prospect tool. When importing prospects in bulk, email preview is not available.
Stranded Funds outreach
The prospect will receive an email entitled Action Required to Claim Outstanding Donations. It states that one or more donations have been sent to the organization that have not been accepted and the check(s) are outstanding.
They will be prompted to complete their registration in NPOconnect so that their organization will receive an email notification each time a payment is disbursed as well as reminder emails when a payment nears its 120-day void date.
Note: After this has been addressed, they will need to follow up with the Nonprofit Support team to request a reissue of the outstanding funds.
Compliance outreach
The prospect will receive an email entitled Action Required to Claim Matching Gifts . It states that they have outstanding matching gift requests for their organization. They will be prompted to register as a Nonprofit Administrator and complete necessary compliance affirmations before the funds can be disbursed.
Note: After compliance is updated, reviews of employee matching gift requests will be conducted and funds will be disbursed during the following disbursement period.
Returned Payment outreach
The prospect will receive an email entitled Action Required to Claim Outstanding Donations. It states that one or more donations have been sent to the organization and the payment(s) were returned to YourCause by the United States Postal Service (USPS) due to a bad address. As a result, any further charitable donations have been suspended until a valid disbursement address is provided.
They will be prompted to complete their registration in NPOconnect and update the disbursement address.
Note: After updating the address, they will need to follow up with the Nonprofit Support team to request a check reissue.
Registration outreach
The prospect will receive an email entitled Register to Manage Your Organization's Profile on NPOconnect. It states that their organization is available on the NPOconnect Nonprofit Platform to be the recipient of charitable donations, grants, and volunteer hours. They will be prompted to register as a Nonprofit Administrator in NPOconnect to complete their organization's profile.
