What's New - NPOconnect Release 1.55.0

With this release, NPOconnect has been updated to provide the Giving Checkout feature to those UK charities that can be processed by JustGiving. The Donate with JustGiving button will now appear in these organizations' public profiles in NPOconnect.

Note: Giving Checkout is a quick and easy way for organizations to receive online donations through JustGiving. For more information, see Donate to Nonprofits Using Giving Checkout.

Organizers now have the option to include a waitlist when creating new events in the Volunteer Events area. When enabled, volunteers can add themselves to the waitlist if a shift they are interested in is currently at capacity. If spots become available, volunteers will automatically be moved to the event in the order they joined the waitlist for a given shift.

When creating events that are scheduled to take place in-person, organizers now have the option to include meet-up instructions for their volunteers. This information will be displayed in the event’s details.

Nonprofit administrators managing events will now automatically receive an email when a volunteer signs up for an event. This notification will include the number of new participants and their assigned hours.
