What's New - NPOconnect Release 1.66.0

With this release, NPOconnect is introducing the new International Nonprofit Vetting Renewal process for organizations based outside of the United States whose vetting is expiring. Organizations are required to be vetted to ensure they are eligible to receive funds through the Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF) and be included in the YourCause Global Good Network.

The International Nonprofit Vetting Renewal process is similar to the International Nonprofit Vetting Application completed when first applying for vetting. Nonprofit Administrators will receive an email when it is time to renew and then be directed to the International Nonprofit Renewal Application in our vetting application platform, GrantsConnect. For ease, the application contains your responses from your previous application with the exception of Audited Financial Statements, Annual Activities Report, and Public Support Test. Administrators will be responsible for reviewing the pre-populated information to ensure it is correct and providing the updated documents for the information that was not carried over from your initial application. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed and vetting renewed if approved.

Note: Organizations that are vetted through our partners (e.g., CanadaHelps, GiveIndia) will still renew their vetting through that partner. They will not be required to complete the International Nonprofit Vetting Renewal Application in NPOconnect.

The Compliance / Affirmations area has been updated to draw more attention to statements that will soon expire. Within 30 days of the expiration, the icon shown next to the statement will change from a green checkmark to a yellow warning symbol. Additionally, (Compliance Expiring Soon, Renew Now) will appear next to the Signed by… text. An example is shown below.

The Live Chat feature has been updated as YourCause Support migrates to a new platform to assist our clients. It can be accessed from the following locations in NPOconnect:

• Live Chat option on the Sign In page

• Live Chat link in the Help and Support area

Note: Chat functionality is only available if the YourCause Support team is online. When offline, Live Chat will be shown as unavailable. If you need assistance, it is recommended to submit a ticket instead and an agent will respond once available.

• The Giving > Payments and Transactions area has been updated so that companies that have been deactivated in CSRconnect and NPOconnect still appear alongside their respective payment information. This is to ensure organizations can effectively report on their donations even if a company is no longer a YourCause client.
