Required Documentation for Blackbaud Giving Fund International Vetting
To complete your Blackbaud Giving Fund International vetting application, you will need to gather specific documentation that demonstrates your organization's eligibility and legitimacy. This includes organization documents like Charter Documents, Financial Reports, and more.
Note: For detailed steps to complete your application, see Global Vetting Guide: Apply Through Blackbaud Giving Fund International.
Why do I need to submit this documentation?
The documentation we request as part of your Global Vetting Application allows us to vet your organization and ensure it meets all the criteria legally allowed to receive charitable donations and grants through the Global Good Network.
What documentation do I need to apply?
The documentation required is detailed in the sections below. It's important to note that several documents need to be translated into English before submitting.
Blackbaud cannot translate documents on behalf of nonprofits. If your organization needs translation assistance, you may choose to use a professional translation service, volunteer translator, or translation technology provider at your own discretion.
Note: Click on the Requirements for special circumstances dropdown to determine if your organization needs to submit additional documentation for name changes, special status designations, or statutory laws.
If your organization is newer or has limited documentation
If your organization is small, newly established, or does not yet have formal versions of every document listed below, you can still proceed. Submit the best available records you have now and include a short explanation for any missing items.
Examples of helpful alternatives include:
-
A recent bank statement and operating summary if a formal financial report is not yet available
-
A signed leadership letter confirming your mission, legal status, and current programs if certain governance records are still being finalized
-
A draft or partial annual activity summary with links to public program information if your full annual report is still in progress
Note: If you are unsure what to submit, contact YourCause Support before submitting your application: Nonprofit Platform Service Inquiry.
