We’ve introduced a new profile feature that lets you share how you use NPOconnect. When you next sign in, you’ll be asked to answer questions about your nonprofit role and responsibilities as well as your goals for using NPOconnect. Your responses help us provide relevant insights and gather feedback for improving the platform.
Note: Your responses won’t affect your account or actions you can take. This information is used internally and won’t be visible to others in your organization. You can update your answers anytime in My account or My Nonprofits. For more information, see Manage Your Profile.

The process for adding a user to manage your nonprofit organization’s account has been updated so that the invitation sent to the user allows them to accept or decline their new role. The user will need to select Accept invitation in the email they receive in order to access your organization's account. Invitations expire 60 days from the date they were sent.
Note: This update applies to both users who are new to NPOconnect and to those who already have an account. For more information, see Add New Users and Accept or Decline Invitation.

We’ve updated the email sent to Nonprofit Administrators when a user is removed to note if they were automatically removed by the system due to inactivity. By default, users will be removed from all nonprofit roles if they haven’t signed in to NPOconnect for over 18 months.
Note: If the user is removed by a Nonprofit Administrator for their organization, the email will instead include the name of the person who removed them.

We’ve updated the language in the email sent to nonprofits revoked by the IRS to include instructions for proving they’re not on the IRS revocation list. This includes submitting evidence to our team using the Nonprofit Platform Service Inquiry form. A preview of this email is shown below.

We’ve updated the Payments and Transactions area to ensure any payments tied to a voided grants payment from GrantsConnect are not shown as they’re no longer applicable.
