Portal Access
To access the portal, constituents log in with a Blackbaud ID. This account links the users portal profile to their constituent record in Raiser's Edge NXT.
You can manage a user's access to the portal on their constituent record, under Portal.
-
Invitation status — The constituent's current portal invitation status: Not invited, Pending, Accepted, or Expired.
-
Associated Blackbaud ID account — The email address linked to the constituent's Blackbaud ID. If this email address is the wrong one, select Unlink from record and then send a new invitation to the correct email address.
-
Last portal login — Date of constituent's most recent portal access.
Invitations help ensure Blackbaud IDs are linked to the correct constituent records. To email a portal invitation to the constituent, select Invite to portal. When they click the link in the message to accept the invitation, they open the portal sign-in page where they can create a Blackbaud ID account.
Note: The invitation is sent to the constituent's primary email address.
To block a constituent from using the portal, select Block user access. If a blocked user attempts to log into the portal or app, they receive an Access Restricted message and an error appears in the user activity log. To restore access, select Unblock user.
Note: If you block a constituent who's not a user yet, they're excluded from portal invitation lists.
