Apply, Edit, or Delete a Gift Batch Template

Batch templates let you define fields and their default values for gift batches. Select the fields you want to include, enter default values for those fields, and save the template. When you apply the template to a new gift batch, those fields and values load automatically, so you don’t need to reenter the same information each time. This helps maintain consistency and reduces data entry errors.

From Gifts, Overview, under Related Links select Batch templates. Select New to create a batch template.

Edit a batch template

1. From Gifts, Overview, under Related Links select Batch templates.

2. To the left of the batch template's name, select the ellipsis, then Edit.

3. Make changes as needed to the batch template's name, description, fields, column positions, or default values.

4. Then, select Save.

Delete a batch template

1. From Gifts, Overview, under Related Links select Batch templates.

2. To the left of the batch template's name, select the ellipsis, then Delete.
