Digital Wallets
A digital wallet is a service that saves a person's payment info so they can access saved credit and debit cards on trusted devices. When you use Blackbaud Merchant Services as your payment processor, you can accept digital wallets (such as Apple Pay and PayPal) for one-time payments made through your online forms.
For information about digital wallets in Standard and Optimized Donation Forms, see Digital Wallets in Online Giving Help.
-
Apple Pay — Currently, Apple Pay is only available for standalone registration forms. It automatically displays when supporters visit your form using a compatible Apple device with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, watchOS, or macOS.
-
PayPal — To display PayPal and Venmo, connect your PayPal Business and Blackbaud Merchant Services accounts through the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal. For more information, see Get Started with PayPal.
Note: Digital wallets display 24 to 48 hours after an online form processes its first payment. To ensure digital wallets display, we recommend you complete a credit card payment during testing.
