Data Health Scorecard

To help ensure meaningful relationships and avoid unnecessary expense, it's important to keep your constituent data current and accurate. To help determine the health of your data, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically — approximately once per year — compares your constituent information to national consumer databases and, based on the accuracy of your data, gives it a score of Great, Good, Average, or Below average. In Tools, Data health, under Scorecard, you can view how your constituent information rates. The more complete, accurate, and current your data, the better score it receives.

To help gauge incorrect or out-of-date address information, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically compares your constituent records against United States Postal Service (USPS) sources. Under Scorecard, you can view the Address health score for the general accuracy of your address information. For more information, see Address Finder

Tip: For additional details, such as how many addresses were incorrect or invalid, how you compare to other organizations, and the approximate cost of bad data, select your Address health score.

To help identify constituents who may have passed away but aren't yet marked as Deceased, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically compares your database against the Social Security Administration (SSA) death benefits database and other sources. In Tools, Data health, under Scorecard, you can view the Deceased health score for the general accuracy of your constituents' Deceased status. For more information, see Deceased Finder.

Tip: For additional details, such as how many potentially deceased constituents were identified and the approximate cost of bad data, select your Deceased health score.

To help gauge incomplete email address information, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically scans your database to find constituent records with no email addresses. Under Scorecard, you can view the Email health score for the general completeness of your constituents' email address information. For more information, see Email Health.

To help gauge incomplete phone number information, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically scans your database to find constituent records with no telephone numbers. Under Scorecard, you can view the Phone health score for the general completeness of your constituents' phone number information. For more information, see Phone Health.
