Contributions

In Online Giving contributions are the gifts your organization receives through Blackbaud Donation Forms. Donors can give:

• One-time gifts paid outright as a single payment.

• Recurring Gifts paid at regular intervals of a donor's choosing, such as monthly gifts of $50.

From Contributions, you can:

• View the total amount raised from recurring gift plans.

• Forecast recurring gift plans performance.

• Pause, Resume, or End Recurring Gift Payments

• Resolve failed recurring gift payments.

How gifts flow from Online Giving to your CRM

For gifts to flow from Online Giving to your CRM, you will set up your connection preferences in Settings. These preferences determine how to automatically add donor and gift information to your CRM.

If you use Blackbaud CRM, gifts will to flow to a CRM batch. Blackbaud Altru doesn’t use a batch approval process. Instead, after you set up your connection preferences, Online Giving creates the gifts in Altru.
