Donor Cover Designation
To track how much donors cover, you can split their transactions and use a different designation for the fees. Otherwise, Online Giving uses the gift designation for fees. For more information, see Fee Coverage.
Tip: Designations are called funds in Raiser's Edge NXT.
Note: If you allow donors to split gift amounts between multiple designations on Standard Donation Forms and don't set a designation for donor cover, Online Giving uses the first designation a donor selects for the donor cover amount.
To set the designation to use for donor-covered fees if you use Blackbaud CRM or Altru:
-
In Online Giving, select Settings.
-
Under Contributions, select Donor cover designation.
-
Select a designation from your CRM.
Tip: We recommend you use a designation that only tracks donor-covered fees collected through forms. After you create the designation in your CRM, it may take up to 15 minutes to load in this field.
-
Select Save.
To set the fund to use for donor-covered fees in Online Giving:

-
