Clone and archive reviewer groups
Often, you'll want to adjust reviewer groups (e.g., replace a reviewer, remove from specific opportunities).
To make these changes while also preserving historical records, you'll need to:
-
Clone—or create new versions of—reviewer groups
-
Archive—or "file away"—old reviewer groups
To clone and archive reviewer groups in bulk, please contact support.
To clone a new reviewer group:
-
Go to the reviewer group.
-
On the Opportunities tab, make sure all assigned opportunities are archived.
-
Go to the Details tab.
-
At the bottom of the page, select Clone Now. You'll be taken automatically to the new reviewer group.
After you've cloned your reviewer group, you may need to perform the following tasks:
-
On the Details tab, review the Name and the Group Reviewer Note.
-
On the Reviewerstab, update reviewers as needed.
-
On the Qualifications tab, review qualifications (especially for date-related information).
-
On the Opportunities tab, make sure your group is assigned to current opportunities (instead of past opportunities).
Once you archive something, you cannot un-archive it. For more on the benefits of archiving opportunities, see Request cycle management.
To archive old reviewer groups:
-
Go to the reviewer group.
-
On the Reviewers tab, make sure that no members have completed reviews. If they do, you need to archive the group's associated opportunities.
-
Go to the Details tab.
-
At the top, select Archive.
Again, archiving is a permanent and irreversible process. Make sure you don't need to make any changes to your reviewer group.
Note: To access archived reviewer groups, go to Opportunity, Evaluators, Reviewer Groups. Then, at the top right, select the Archived tab.
