From Revenue, click Gift Aid settings under Configuration. The Gift Aid Settings page appears.

Select the Gift Aid Disqualification Rules tab.

Beside Gift Aid site-based disqualification rules, click Add. The Add a site-based disqualification rule screen appears.

In the Based on field, select a record type or payment characteristic for disqualification, such as Campaign, Appeal, or Event.
Campaigns, Designations, Appeals, Events, and Memberships can be site-specific. Payment method and Revenue category are not site-specific and apply to the organisation as a whole. For more information about global disqualification rules, refer to Add Global Disqualification Rule.
Note: A Gift Aid status appears in the summary section of campaign, designation, appeal, event, and membership records and displays the record as qualified or not qualified for Gift Aid.

Select an associated entry related to the record type or payment characteristic selected in the Based on field. For example, if you select “Campaign” in the Based on field, the Campaign criteria field appears for you to search for a specific campaign. Use the magnifying glass to access a search screen.
Note: When you base a disqualification rule on an appeal, if the disqualified appeal exists on the Mailings tab of the payment record, all applications for that payment are disqualified for Gift Aid.

Click Save. You return to the Gift Aid Disqualification Rules tab. Your rules and criteria appear in the Gift Aid site-based disqualification rules grid.
The Site column is read-only and displays the site associated with the base-on criteria for a rule. For example, you create a disqualification rule and select “Appeals” in the Based on field. You select “2014 Holiday Event” in the Appeal criteria field. The site associated with 2014 Holiday Event automatically displays in the Site column for the disqualification rule.
