Disbursement Process Templates
Disbursement process templates determine which filters, result settings, disbursement formats, and auto-signatures are used in disbursement processes that use that template.
You can add a template from the Processes tab of the Disbursements page. This is also where you can access the template later. For information about how to add a template, see Add a Disbursement Process Template.
On the Disbursement process template page, you can view, edit, and delete the disbursement process templates your organization uses. This page appears immediately after you add a template. You can start a process from here. For information about how to start a process, see Start a Disbursement Process.
The Disbursement process template page summary includes information about payment and post, auto-signatures, and disbursement format. The summary also displays process criteria including description, bank account, due date, discount expiration date, and discount calculation method. From tabs on this page, you can view and edit filters, results settings, disbursement formats, and auto-signatures for a given template.
On the Filters tab, you can view the date filters for transactions with due dates in a template. You can also edit the filters. By default, transactions up to and including the process date are included. You can add days before or after the process date, include all unpaid transactions, selected transactions, and calculate discounts as of a certain number of days before the process runs. On the Results settings tab, you can view results settings for a template. You can also edit results settings. The default option sets the disbursement date to the day the process runs. The post status is “Not posted.” Post date equals the disbursement date. You can also create a selection from results. For information about how to edit results settings, see Edit Results Settings.
On the Disbursement formats tab, you can link, edit, and unlink formats for a template. For information about how to link, edit, or unlink disbursement formats, see Link Disbursement Formats, Edit Linked Disbursement Formats, or Unlink Disbursement Formats
Note: Linking a format to a disbursement process template is different than adding a disbursement format. You must add a disbursement format before you link a format to a disbursement process template. For information about how to add a disbursement format see, Add a Disbursement Format.
On the Auto-signatures tab, you can view auto-signatures for a template. You can select two auto-signatures and choose printing options for each. For information about how to edit auto-signatures, see Edit Auto-signatures in a Disbursement Process Template.
Note: Editing an auto-signature in a disbursement process template is different than creating an auto-signature. You must create an auto-signature and make it an authorized signature for the bank assigned to the process template before you add an auto-signature to a disbursement process template.
