Create a Redirect Engagement Element

Redirect Engagement Elements (EEs) link users to an external website or a page within your community.

Tip: Text fields on this page support custom translations.

1. Go to CSRconnect Admin Portal, Admin tools, Engagements, Engagement Elements.

2. Select Create New.

3. Choose Page Redirect, then Select.

4. Enter Details for this EE.

   • Title: Maximum 30 characters

   • Call to Action: Maximum 45 characters

5. Upload a Home Page Image.

   • Recommended sizes 1024px x 780px. JPG, PNG, or GIF.

   • The Home Page Image will appear under Featured if this EE displays on the home page.

   • Select Adjust Image to preview your images and set a focal point. The focal point is the prioritized area when the image needs to be cropped. Select Save Focal Point, then Close.

6. Under Banner Image, select Use Home Page Image. Because Redirect EEs are links, they do not create a page in CSRconnect that needs a banner image.

7. Enter your EE's Active Date Range and select a Time Zone. Start Date & Time and End Date & Time control when your EE can be visible to employees.

8. Enter the Redirect Link. It must include http:// or https:// before the www.

9. Select Open link in a new window if desired. If not selected, the user's browser settings may determine whether the link opens in the current window, a new tab, or a new window.

10. Select Save Changes. Your EE will publish and expire automatically based on the start and end dates you set.

Tip: Enable the Featured setting to display this EE on the home page and in the community navigation.
