Group message posts

Group members can post public messages within their group page and reply to each other's posts.

Note: The program settings and group settings determine what groups members and admins can see and do.

Group admins can also send direct messages to group members. See Group admin messages.

Create a message post

  1. From the group page, select Message Posts.

  2. Under Message Posts, enter your text content.

  3. Select Post.

Edit a post

Group admins and the member who created a post can edit it.

  1. From the group page, select Message Posts.

  2. Locate the post. On the row, select Edit.

  3. Edit the post text.

  4. Select Edit. The old post is now replaced with the new one.

Delete a post

Group admins and the member who created a post can delete it.

  1. From the group page, select Message Posts.

  2. Locate the post. On the row, select Delete.

  3. A confirmation message appears. Select Delete.

Reply to a message on the group page

  1. From the community, select Groups and My Groups.

  2. Select the group.

  3. From the group page, select Message Posts.

  4. Locate the post. On the row, select Reply.

  5. Enter text content.

  6. Select Reply.

View replies to a message on the group page

  1. From the group page, select Message Posts.

  2. Locate the post. On the row, select Show Replies.

Edit a reply to a post

Group admins and the member who created a reply can edit it.

  1. From the group page, select Message Posts.

  2. Locate the post. On the row, select Show Replies.

  3. Locate the reply. On the row, select the Edit icon.

  4. Edit the reply.

  5. Select Edit to submit the change.

Delete a reply to a message from the group page

Group admins and the member who created a reply can delete it.

  1. From the group page, select Message Posts.

  2. Locate the post. On the row, select Show Replies

  3. Locate the reply. On the row, select X.

  4. A confirmation message appears. Select Delete.

Note: Group members can opt to receive an email notification when their group has new message posts or when their posts have new replies.
