Email exemptions
Client admins can control email notifications at a more granular level by excluding specific donors from receiving certain notifications. Currently, you can add an email rule to exclude donors from receiving certain action-needed notifications from the Stranded Funds Automation process.
You can manage email exemptions from CSRconnect Admin Portal, Users, Manage Email Exemptions. Clients admins must have the Can Manage Email Rules permission. See Roles & permissions.
Notes:

When a rule has a forwarding email address, if any users in that rule are scheduled to receive an exempt email, the system will send the email to the forwarding email address.

If a user is in multiple rules and each rule has a different forwarding email address, the system will still forward the respective email to each forwarding address.

Select Create Email Rule.

In Rule Details, enter a rule name and description.

Optional: In Forwarding Email, include a forwarding email address.
Note: You must include a forwarding email address for the system to redirect exempt emails.

In Select Emails for Exemption, select Add for each email to include in this rule.
Each email selected appears in the Email Exemption Summary. -
Select Save to save the email rule.

In the Assign Users to Email Rule, search for a user to include in this Do Not Contact list.

Select Add to add the user to the Users Assigned list.

Repeat steps 7 and 8 for each user you want to add to the rule.

Select Save.

Select Create Email Rule.

Select Save to save the email rule.

Select Bulk Upload Users.

If needed, select Download Template to download and then complete the template with the users' information.

Select Continue.

On Bulk Import, upload the template and select Upload File.

Select Publish. The users included in the template now appear in the Users Assigned list.

Select Save.

Select Manage Rule.

Include adjustments as needed.

Select Save.
