Stranded Funds Automation settings
To configure your community's Stranded Funds Automation (SFA) settings, visit the CSRconnect Admin Portal, Community setup, Give, Stranded Funds Automation.
Your must have the Can Manage Stale Check Processing Setting permission to manage SFA settings. See Manage Roles.
Because stranded funds must be redirected to an organization that uses the same processor as the original organization, some SFA settings are configured for each enabled processor.
Note: Some of the settings below only apply to California donors, who have a different SFA process to comply with local regulations. For more information on the California SFA process, see SFA redirect selection.
-
Under Transaction Redirect Charity Bucket, select a bucket of organizations employees can choose for fund redirection.
Note: Charity buckets are the lists of charities your employees can engage with for each feature. For example, you can only create fundraisers for charities you have included in your peer to peer fundraising bucket. Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) configures your charity buckets for you.
-
To enable the Search for another organization redirect option for California employees, select the Allow employees to search for a charity within this bucket setting.
-
Under Alternate and Suggested Redirect Organizations, select an alternate redirect organization for each enabled processor. Stranded funds from non-California donors will be automatically redirected to your alternate organization for that processor.
Note: If no alternate organization is selected, the donation processor serves as the default alternate organization.
-
Optionally, you can select up to four additional organizations to appear as suggested charities for California donors.
-
Select Notification Settings to designate admin(s) who will be notified if a selected alternate organization becomes ineligible for giving. In this situation, an admin must log into the CSRconnect Admin Portal to update the alternate charity.
