VolunteerMatch settings

VolunteerMatch, from Idealist, is an integration that displays external volunteer opportunities in your community's Search Opportunities results. Participants can record their participation in these opportunities alongside opportunities created within your CSRconnect community.

Note: Events are pulled in from VolunteerMatch update once a day.

Contact your Customer Success Manager to set up your VolunteerMatch integration. You can view your VolunteerMatch integration settings from CSRconnect Admin Portal, Community setup, Integrations, Idealist Settings.

Your integration can have the following configurations:

• Custom Question: Select a custom question set for participants to answer.

• Disclaimer: Create a disclaimer for participants to review and agree to.

• Country opportunity sources: Add or change the countries included in your VolunteerMatch search results. You must select at least one country to save your changes.

  Note: This setting does not apply to virtual VolunteerMatch opportunities.

• Registered charities: Limit your VolunteerMatch opportunities to results from charities with a registered charity ID. This setting would exclude opportunities for charities from outside of the United States and opportunities through government-based organizations, such as local public libraries.

Note: In communities with segmentation, the API Key is managed at the affiliate level. All other VolunteerMatch settings are segmentable.
