Manage Access for a Specific Basic or Advanced List by User (EAP)

Determine who can use a specific list.

  1. Schools participating in the early adopter program (EAP) can use a "sneaky link" url to access a new experience for managing basic and advanced lists. When you join the EAP, save the link to your browser's bookmarks.

A list of basic and advanced lists appears.

Note: Not in the EAP? See basic lists and advanced lists instead.

  2. Choose which Columns of data to show.

Then Filter and sort the list.

  3. Search for a specific list.

  4. When you find the list, select the ellipsis (...) at the beginning of its row and then select Manage user access.

Alternatively, select the count of User access.

A list of users with access appears. For each user, it indicates their security roles, and whether they can Run, Copy, Edit, or Manage the list.

  5. To remove a user's access, find them in the list and then select Delete (trash icon).

  6. To add a user, enter their name in Search for users. Select the user from the results and then select + Add to users.

If multiple people have similar names, pay attention to their Blackbaud ID (username, email address) or grad year as you select users.

  7. For each user, determine whether they can Run, Copy, Edit, or Manage the list.

Note: Users who can manage a list can determine whether other user can also Run, Copy, Edit, or Manage the list. See Manage access for a specific basic or advanced list by role.

  8. Select Save.

See Manage Basic and Advanced Lists.

Tip: To determine who can create advanced lists, see Manage access to create advanced lists by user.
