Bank Feeds

Bank feeds keep cash balances current and help you reconcile accounts faster.

When you use Yodlee to enable bank feeds, you connect online bank accounts from your financial institutions to bank accounts in Financial Edge NXT. After you link accounts, you can download and match transactions automatically.

Note: We partner with Yodlee, a third-party financial aggregator, to help protect online account information and support daily reconciliation with current balances and transaction statuses.

Enable Bank Feeds

Bank feeds are enabled by default. If you previously disabled bank feeds, you can enable them again at any time.

From the bank accounts list in Treasury, select Settings.
Under Bank feed configuration, select Enable bank feeds for bank accounts.
To match and clear payments during download, select Automatch payments.
To match and clear deposits during download, select Automatch deposits.
Select Save.

After you enable bank feeds, use Manage Bank Feeds to link your online bank accounts.

Disable Bank Feeds

You can disable bank feeds and enable them again later.

From the bank accounts list in Treasury, select Settings.
Under Bank feed configuration, deselect Enable bank feeds for bank accounts.
When you disable bank feeds after setup, linked online bank information and downloaded transactions are removed from Financial Edge NXT.
Select Save.
Under Disable bank feeds, you can select Reset matched or unreconciled transactions to Outstanding.
Select Disable bank feeds.

Tip: During initial implementation, you can also disable bank feeds from the bank accounts list in Treasury when you select No thanks, I prefer not to use bank feeds.

Manage Bank Feeds

After you accept Yodlee's Terms of Use in Financial Edge NXT, you can link online bank accounts to your bank accounts. See Manage Bank Feeds for setup steps.

After you link an online bank account to a bank account in Financial Edge NXT, select Refresh to download transactions from Yodlee.

You can refresh in two ways:

From the bank accounts list, select Refresh from the bank row menu .
From the bank account record, under Online balance, select Refresh.

The bank feed shows spent and received transactions from both the online bank account and the matching account in Financial Edge NXT. You can unmatch, manually match, or ignore transactions.

You can open the bank feed in two ways:

From the bank accounts list, select Open bank feed from the bank row menu .
From the bank account record, select the Bank feed tab.

Manually Manage Transactions

When transactions do not match automatically, a banner on the bank account record shows the number of unmatched transactions. To review and match them, select View and match transactions. For complete steps, see Manually Manage Transactions.
