  • Records — Add new payables records without navigating away. Options include new invoices, vendors, credit memos, purchase orders, receipts, and payment runs.

Tip: If your organization leverages Microsoft's Azure AI Document Intelligence in Payables, you can also generate new invoice drafts. Generating invoice drafts is part of an Early Adopter Program (EAP). We'll review and implement participant feedback to prepare for limited and general availability.

  • Needs attention — If Payment Assistant is enabled for your organization, review invoices to pay and payment run tasks based on your role.

Payment run creators see runs with a Created or Rejected status, exceptions that require reprocessing, and unresolved validation issues. Payment run reviewers and approvers see runs pending approval and returned or rejected payments.

If your organization enabled an inbox for generated invoice drafts, review any email errors that prevented draft invoices from generating. These tasks are part of an Early Adopter Program (EAP) with Microsoft's Azure AI Document Intelligence.

  • Related links — Navigate quickly to frequently used areas, including Bank accounts, Exceptions, and Queries.

  • Recently accessed — Return to up to five payables records you recently viewed, including invoices, vendors, credit memos, and purchase orders.

  • Payment Assistant — If Payment Assistant is enabled for your organization, you can monitor payment activity and act on key tasks from one place. If Payment Assistant is not yet enabled, use the cost savings calculator to estimate what your organization could save.

  • Document Intelligence email — If your organization enabled an inbox for generated invoice drafts, review a summary of inbox activity from the last 14 days. For a closer look, review the email history for total emails received as well as emails that didn't generate a draft invoice. These tasks are part of an Early Adopter Program (EAP) with Microsoft's Azure AI Document Intelligence.
