Add Comments to Application Forms

Internal comments can be added to application forms in the Application View. This allows you to provide feedback to other Grant Managers.

What to know

  • Comments are only visible in the Grant Manager Portal. They're not shared with the applicant.

    Tip: To provide feedback to the applicant, it's recommended to request a revision or send the Notify of Status email.

  • Comments are shown in the Application Forms and Activity tabs in the Application View. They can be exported by downloading the application and including the Activity Trail in the export.

  • Comments cannot be included in reporting.

Add comments

  1. Navigate to the Applications area.

  2. Click on the Application ID to open the Application View or edit the application.

  3. Select the form.

  4. Click on the Comments link next to the form name in the preview.

  5. Enter a message in the Comments screen.

    Note: Any existing comments will also appear in this screen.

  6. Click on Post to save the comment to the form.
