What's New - GrantsConnect Release 2.134.0

This release is scheduled for November 17, 2025. Updates are released to UAT and Production during our release window of 10:30 AM ET to 11 AM ET.

Custom forms

GrantsConnect introduces Form Intelligence, a new AI-powered feature that helps grant managers create clearer, more accurate application forms. Use the new Make suggestions tool in the Form Builder to refine field labels and descriptions. This release focuses on improving text quality through spelling, grammar, and clarity suggestions.

This feature is available to clients and users with the required permissions. For details, see Form Intelligence with Blackbaud AI.

We updated nonprofit registration instructions in standard form templates to reflect the new Blackbaud Verified Network name. This change replaces all references to YourCause NPOconnect. Updated templates include:

  • GrantsConnect – Sponsorship + CRA request form

  • GrantsConnect – Sponsorship form

Note: Copies of these templates are not automatically updated. Review and update copies currently in use to ensure consistency.

Private organizations

Grant managers with the Grant Applications – Can Edit Private Organizations or Grant Applications - All permissions can update the name, address, and Registration ID of private organizations in Applications, Organizations or in their Nonprofit Profile in the Grant Manager Portal.

This update applies to private organizations, or those manually added by a grant manager or applicant for a client-processed grant program. For all other organizations, updates must be made by the registration authority or a registered Nonprofit Administrator in the Blackbaud Verified Network.

Tip: If an organization’s information changes after creating a payment, use the new payment columns in Ad Hoc reports (Payment type) to view the original name and address.

API integration

The API Configuration tile in Settings now displays a deprecation message. Existing integrations remain functional, but this API is no longer supported.
