Giving - Charities

Use the Charities dashboard to report on the most popular charities for giving activity in your community.

This dashboard includes donations from both employees and company rewards, such as incentives and matching gifts. Use the Donation Type filter to view only employee donations or company donations.

Giving dashboards include donations in all active transaction statuses (Completed, On Hold, Processed, Processing). Inactive transactions are not included.

To see donations based on transaction status, use the Transaction Status Category filter on the Donations dashboard.

  • Date

  • Charity Country

  • Charity State / Province

  • Charity Name

  • Donation Type

  • Employee Active status

Key Performance Indicators

On the Giving Charities dashboard, you can see summary data for four key performance indicators, or KPIs:

  • Giving Engagement Rate: Total number of employees with giving activity, divided by the number of active employees

    • Note: The system calculates the number of active employees for a given date range based on employees' hire dates and inactive dates (when applicable). When there is no provided hire date, the system will use the date the employee was added to the HR file.

  • Total Donation Amount: The total amount donated.

  • Donor Count: The total number of donors.

  • Donated Charities: The number of charities to which your employees have donated.

Giving by Charity Location

This map displays donation activity based on charity locations. Each map section's color corresponds to donation totals, with darker color indicating more funds donated. Hover over the map to view values for that region.

Note: Selecting a region on the map will filter the rest of the visualizations on this page to display data for that region only.

To adjust the map to a more granular level, hover over a location, then select Drill down. For example, you can hover over a state and select Drill down to view that state's data by county.

To adjust the map to a higher level, hover over a location and select Drill up. For example, you can hover over a state and select Drill up to view data at a country-level.

Top 5 Donated Charities

View your top five charities by donation amount.

Giving by Cause Area and Charity Category

For Giving by Cause Area and Giving by Charity Category, you can view which kinds of charities are most popular in your community. Total Donation Amount is the default metric, but you can view data for another metric by selecting it from the drop down menu.

Donated Charities

Donated Charities displays all charities with donation activity, providing the following information:

  • Total Donation Amount

  • Employee Donation Amount

  • Match Donation Amount

  • Donor Count

  • Engagement Rate

From this table, you can access an organization's charity details page:

  1. Select a charity from the table.

  2. Select Select a charity in the table to view the Charity Detail Page to open the charity details page.
