Fraud Management Questions about Checkout

Fraud management is no longer part of the Luminate Online configuration. Blackbaud Merchant Services now handles payment processing fraud management services. With the new checkout system, fraud management has been integrated deeper into the feature. This means you no longer need to manually implement safeguards like CAPTCHA or reCAPTCHA in Luminate Online.
Luminate Online fraud management configurations, such as Fraud Management reports, reCAPTCHA data element, and velocity settings, are available until March 31st, 2025. Starting April 1st, 2025, these will no longer be applicable for use, because they will not integrate with the new checkout feature. You do not need to take action to remove any configurations. These options will be removed in the future.

Yes, Blackbaud Merchant Services now handles payment processing fraud management services, not Luminate Online. You can configure industry-standard fraud management settings in the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal.
