Create a TeamRaiser
To start, choose to either create a TeamRaiser with the help of system defaults, copy a previously-defined event, or create a TeamRaiser based off of a Blueprint.
Create a TeamRaiserGo to Fundraising > TeamRaiser.
Select the Create a TeamRaiser button.
Enter a Public Name to identify the event to registrants and donors.
Select a Security Category to determine who can create and edit the event.
Enter the Event Date or use the calendar to select the date when the event will occur or when the registration closes for virtual events.
Leave the TeamRaiser Status as Unpublished until you finish the configuration.
For Donation Form Association, select:
Assign an existing donation form to this TeamRaiser to use an existing form and then select it from the Donation Form Name list.
Create a new responsive donation form for this TeamRaiser if the is form can be used on mobile devices and computers and then select the Merchant Account for depositing money collected for this event.
Tip: Search for an account then scroll through the results in the dropdown menu for the Merchant Account field.
For Initial Participation Type, enter the name of a way that people can participate, such as Walker.
Tip: The participation type generates configuration options for a TeamRaiser event. You can rename, modify, or add more information to this participation type name later from configuration options. You can add more than one participation type.
(Optional) Enter the amount of the Initial Participation Type Registration Fee to charge each person who registers for this participation type.
Tip: You can change this participation type fee later when you edit configuration options.
Select Finish.
Create a copy of an existing TeamRaiserOn the TeamRaisers List page, select Copy from the Action column of the appropriate TeamRaiser.
For Administrative Name, enter a name to identify this TeamRaiser from the list.
Select Finish.
Create a TeamRaiser from a BlueprintFrom the top of any Administrator page, select Fundraising and TeamRaiser.
On the TeamRaiser List page, select the Blueprints tab.
On the Blueprints list page, select Copy from the Actions column of the appropriate Blueprint to display the Copy page.
For Blueprint Copy Options, select Create a Child Event.
For Administrative Name, enter a unique name to identify the purpose of the Blueprint. This name must be unique from all events in the list.
Select Finish.
Next, find your TeamRaiser in the list, then select Edit to Edit TeamRaiser identification details.
