Yes, gifts you add in the web view appear in the database view.

Yes, you can add more than one gift at a time in Gifts, Overview. For more information, see Add Gift Batches tutorial and Gift Batches.

In the web view, you can add a pledge gift from the constituent's record, Fundraising, or Home. For more information, see Add Pledges and Generate Installments and Add Payments for Manual Pledges.

Currently, the required gift entry fields you set in the database view aren't available in the web view. However, the web view has required fields — gift amount, gift date, gift type, payment method, fund, and post date — when you add gifts.
Tip: By default, the post date is the date you enter the gift.

Users who have access to add gifts in the database view also have access to add gifts and process credit card and direct debit payments in the web view. There are no restrictions for viewing payment details on a gift record.

The fields on the gift record vary depending upon the gift type and payment method of the donation. For donations made with a credit card, the fields you can view on the gift record under Payment information are:

To see more details, such as cardholder name, card type, expiration date, and the last four digits of the account number, select View credit card information under Payment information
Note: Full credit card numbers are not stored in the web view or the database view.

To see more details, such as account type, account holder name, check number, last four digits of the account number, and routing number, select View direct debit information under Payment information.

This was an automatically generated field used to track the BBPS transaction ID. It is no longer added to gift records in the web view, and its value is stored in the BBPSTransactionID field in the database view.
