This week, Raiser's Edge NXT released changes for customers as part of waved roll outs. The updates available to you are listed below. If you don't see any updates, don't worry! You'll receive them in a future wave.


Now you can close a constituent form the same way you close a donation form. This gives you more control over form availability, so you can stop accepting submissions after a deadline passes without deleting the form.

From Confirmations select Automatically close form, set a close date and time, and customize the message supporters see after the form closes. If you don't set a custom message, a default message displays: "This form is no longer available."

New Standard Donation Forms now default to Monthly when you enable recurring gifts, reducing setup time and aligning forms with recurring giving best practices. Monthly is selected automatically in the configuration, and the recurring gift label updates to Monthly. When Monthly is the only enabled frequency, the frequency selector on the form is hidden from donors to streamline the giving experience. Existing forms remain unchanged.

Queries that include tribute name information now offer two distinct name format options. The Honor/Memorial Sort Name field, which was previously labeled Honor/Memorial Name, continues to display names in Last, First Middle format. A new Honor/Memorial Name field displays names in First MI Last format, so you can run mail merges and generate correspondence without reformatting name data outside of Raiser's Edge NXT.

If you renamed Honor/Memorial Name in a query's output columns, that custom name remains unchanged.

You can now include additional commonly used Export fields when building queries in web view, such as full addresses, campaign lists, and fundraiser lists, which improves readability and streamlines downstream reporting.

Use these web view-only query fields in criteria, output, and sorting across both single-row and multi-row layouts to create more complete exports for reporting and analysis.
