What's New
This week, Raiser's Edge NXT released changes for customers as part of waved roll outs. The updates available to you are listed below. If you don't see any updates, don't worry! You'll receive them in a future wave.

To help you track constituent communication preferences and stay compliant, you can now manage consent category settings directly in web view.
Configure solicit codes on consent categories to automatically update constituent records when someone opts in or out, such as to assign a "Do not email" code and remove a "Send all email" code for an email opt-out. You can also set default consent statements and privacy policies to ensure consistent messaging across your organization.
Note: Solicit code mapping is currently available at the category level only. Channel-level mappings can still be managed in database view and will be supported in web view soon.
To get started, go to Settings, Control Panel, Consent settings.
For more information, see Consent Settings.

Now, you can collect a donor's communication preferences on your Optimized Donation Forms. When donors opt in to a channel or category, they're giving you permission to send them the communications they select.
From, Online Giving, Donation forms, select an Optimized Form to edit or create a new one. From Optional fields, select Collect opt-ins under Contact preferences.
For more information, see Consent Communication Preferences.

To make it easier to manage your constituent lists, you can now filter for constituents who are not assigned to a fundraiser. Previously, this option was only available from the unassigned list in your work center.
To apply this filter to your list, under Filters, select Fundraisers, Fundraiser. In the drop down menu, select No value.
Note: This What's New automatically appears after a new release so you know what's what.
