Data Health
To help ensure meaningful relationships and prevent unnecessary expense, it's important to keep your constituent data current and accurate. In Tools, Data health, you can track the overall health and accuracy of your database and manage automatic updates to help ensure good data hygiene.

To help determine the health of your data, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically — approximately once per year — compares your constituent information to national consumer databases. Based on the accuracy of your data, your constituents' contact information and deceased status receives a score of Great, Good, Average, or Below average. Under Scorecard, you can view how your constituent information rates. The more complete and current your data, the better score it receives. For more information, see Data Health Scorecard.

To assess your Address health score, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically compares your constituents' addresses against United States Postal Service (USPS) NCOALink and Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) certification every 90 days. To help keep your constituents' addresses current and USPS-compliant, under Address Finder, you can view details about its most recent, next, and previous Address Finder updates. For more information, see Address Finder.

To help your data hygiene, Raiser's Edge NXT automatically monitors your database for potential duplicate constituent records. Under Possible duplicates, you can view when your database was last updated and how many potential duplicates were found. To view your potential duplicates and decide whether to merge their records or keep them separate, select the Possible duplicates total. For more information, see Duplicate Management.
