Workflow Designer Email
A workflow designer email is a message Raiser's Edge NXT sends from an automated workflow you create in Communications, Workflow designer. From Communications, Email, manage these email messages under Workflow designer emails.
Note: Automated workflows are processes that perform series of tasks based on criteria you select. From a workflow, you can assign actions to fundraisers or use Workflow designer to send email to constituents. For more information, see Workflow Designer Email.

Create a workflow in Communications, Workflow designer and set the criteria for who should receive the message. For more information, see Workflows.
Tip: To assign tasks for fundraisers to email constituents, add actions — rather than email — when you create automated workflows.

From Communications, Email, select Create an email and select a starting point for your content.

Feeling creative? Select Create email from a blank layout and use the email designer to define the layout and style of the message.

Need some inspiration? Select Create email from a template and choose a best practice template to start from.

Choose a design.

For blank layouts, under Select a layout, choose how to structure the content.
Tip: Don't see exactly what you need? Don't worry, when you create the content, you can add and remove columns.

For templates, under Select a template, choose the design that best matches the purpose of your message.

Under Create your content, include the email messaging and define its style. For more information, see Email Builder.

Select Next.

Under Finalize your email, prepare the email for delivery. For more information, see Email Sending and Publishing.

Rather than start a message from scratch, select Copy from an email's menu to reuse the design and basic details.
Note: To reuse an automated email that's active, you must manually publish the copy and then select the workflow to use it with from Communications, Workflow designer.

To help keep your lists tidy, you can get rid of messages you don't need. From an email's menu , select Delete to permanently remove it.
Note: Don't see the option to delete a workflow designer email? After you associate it with a workflow from Communications, Workflow designer, you can no longer remove it.
