Undergiving
Under Undergiving, you can access prospects identified as having a high likelihood for major giving and are assigned to a fundraiser but haven't reached their predicted target gift range. Review their assigned actions and opportunities — they may need more outreach.
Tip: To see candidates who were temporarily removed from this list for six or twelve months, check Your prospects or All assigned prospects. List availability depends on your permissions.
Note: Prospect Insights automatically creates lists using your prospect pool and predictive analytics to determine list composition. For more information on list availability and size, see Manage Prospect Insights lists.
Manage the Undergiving list
Tip: Use filters to save time.
To filter the list by assigned fundraisers, select them from Fundraiser. Only active fundraisers appear in the list. To view all fundraisers, including those whose constituent record is marked inactive, select Show inactive.
Note: The Fundraiser filter is only available to authorized users. For more information, see Roles, tasks, and permissions and Permissions.
Prospects are listed in priority order based on who needs action first. Therefore, we suggest that you start at the top of the list.
For each prospect in the list:
-
Select the prospect and from Prospect management review the opportunities to which the prospect has been assigned and any upcoming actions.
-
Determine the next steps for the prospect.
-
If the candidate meets your organization's major giving criteria:
-
Consider editing existing opportunities or actions, add an opportunity, an action, or both.
-
To add an action for the prospect, select Add action. For more information about actions and how to work with them, see Actions.
-
To add an opportunity for the candidate, select Add opportunity. For more information about using opportunities, see Opportunities.
-
To change a fundraising assignment, select Manage fundraisers.
-
If you don't want to continue the current fundraiser assignments, for each assignment, select End assignment and enter an end date for the assignment.
-
If you know which fundraiser you'd like to assign to this prospect, either assign the prospect to yourself or select another person. The prospect appears in the fundraiser's Your prospects list.
Note: Any actions you add appear on the prospect's constituent record.
Note: Any opportunities you add appear on the prospect's constituent record.
The prospect will appear again in the Undergiving list after the time period you selected has elapsed if they still meet the criteria for the queue.
-
-
If you already have opportunities and actions in place to increase the prospect's levels of giving:
-
Select Finish review, Permanently remove from this queue.
-
Select a reason for dismissing the candidate. The selection and the date it was made appear on the constituent's record, providing a record for the dismissal.
Tip: To help your future self and your co-workers, add a comment providing context for the dismissal. Don't include any sensitive information in the comment, because anyone with access to the constituent's Prospect Insights data can see the comments.
Dismissing a candidate permanently removes them from the Undergiving list and they will not come up again for review. However, you can still access them from Prospects.
