Set up an opportunity
Streamline information collection with opportunities.
An opportunity is essentially a survey—a way to collect and group impact statements related to a specific fund. Once you set up an opportunity, recipients can log in to the web portal, provide materials related to their award (answers, pictures, thank-you letters), and submit everything for your review.
To see a list of opportunities in your system, go to Stewardship, Funds, Opportunities.
Note: Once you create a fund, your system automatically creates an associated opportunity. There can be only one active opportunity per fund.

From the Details tab, view and edit basic information about the opportunity, such as:
-
Associated fund codes, donors, scopes, etc.
-
Opportunity-specific information, such as the recipient-facing description and public URL
-
Dates:
Start Date: When this opportunity is open to recipients (beginning of the day)
End Date: When this opportunity is closed to recipients (end of the day)
Archive Date: When this opportunity becomes read-only to preserve historical data (beginning of the day)

From the Questions tab, add questions for recipients to answer on their impact statements.
For more information, see Add questions.

From the Impact Statements tab, view impact statements associated with this opportunity. For more about working with impact statements, see Request impact statements, Monitor impact statements, and Import recipients.
