Add Fee Coverage to Donation Forms

To give donors the option to help minimize your transaction costs, enable donor cover or Complete Coverâ„¢ on your forms.

To configure your form for fee coverage:

  1. Create or edit a donation form.

  2. Under Payment and fees, select a payment configuration for a Blackbaud Merchant Services account.

    Note: If your organization has one Blackbaud Merchant Services account with only one payment configuration, the form automatically connects to your configuration. If you have multiple accounts or configurations, you can select a payment configuration under Payment and fees, Gift processing.

  3. Under Fee coverage, choose how you would like donors to cover the fees.

  4. Continue configuring the form and save it.

Tip: To help offset fees for ineligible transactions, donor cover may display for Complete Cover-enabled donation forms. The amount toward fees is allocated to the form's default fund unless you specify a separate designation.
