Authentication

On the Authentication settings page, organization admins can enable single sign-on (SSO) and manage how users sign in with their Blackbaud IDs. SSO is one of three authentication options for users to sign in with Blackbaud IDs and access their organization's Blackbaud solutions:

• An SSO connection through your organization's identity provider (IdP):

  • Entra ID

  • Google Workspace

  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)

  • Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0

• A social sign-in, such as Apple ID, Facebook, Google, or Microsoft

• Blackbaud's default secure authentication service

Single Sign-on

Under Single sign-on, organization admins can configure authentication settings so that users sign in to Blackbaud solutions through an IdP. For more information, see Single Sign-on.
