R68 Process

With the R68 process, you can process tax claims and refunds and generate totals for the R68(2000) report. You can process, preview, and print two variations of the R68(2000) report: an R68 report for new tax claims and an R68 Refund report outlining previous tax claims to be refunded to Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC). The R68 process generates initial tax claims and tax claim refunds at the same time. After you run the R68 process, you can submit the results to HMRC online. For more information, refer to Submit File to HMRC Process.

Note: We recommend you run the R68 report for one tax claim period at a time. For gifts that span two tax periods, we recommend you run two different tax claim reports.
