Fundraisers settings

Admins can configure their community's peer to peer fundraisers from CSRconnect Admin Portal, Fundraisers, Fundraisers Settings. You must have the Can manage fundraising design permission. See Roles and permissions.

Tip: Fundraisers settings text fields support custom translations.

  1. To allow your community's fundraisers to be shared externally and to receive external donations, enable Fundraising Social Share.

    • To turn on external fundraisers, at least one social media platform must be selected.

    • To hide your logo from external fundraiser pages, select Do not show client logo on the public page.

    • Visitors to external fundraisers must indicate if they are a current employee, or if they wish to enter their email address and donate as a guest. To avoid employees donating as guests, enable Prompt donors to login through affiliate email address. If the entered email address is on the HR file, the employee will be prompted to log in.

Note: External fundraiser donations will always charge fees. There is no fee coverage option for external fundraiser donations.

Tip: Employees can share a fundraiser externally by either selecting a social media logo to post the fundraiser to that platform, or by selecting Share This Page and copying the link.

  2. Under Fundraiser Page Custom Text, you can customize the tooltip text on your community's fundraiser pages.

    • The Progress Bar Tooltip appears when a user hovers over the fundraising progress bar on a fundraiser page.

    • The Recent Donations Tooltip appears in the Recent Donations section of a fundraiser page.

  3. Under Internal Donor Disclaimer Text, you can enter text that appears at the end of the Create a Fundraiser form. To finish creating a fundraiser, employees will have to indicate that they have read the disclaimer and agree to it.

    • Up to 5,000 characters.

  4. Under External Donor Disclaimer Text and External Donor Custom Welcome Text, you can enter text that appears when a user accesses a fundraiser through the Share This Page external fundraiser link.

    • Both have a 250-character limit.

    • External Donor Custom Welcome Text appears when the user is prompted to indicate whether they are an employee or a guest. If the user selects Continue as a Guest, they see the External Donor Disclaimer Text when they are prompted to enter an email address and agree to the YourCause Terms of Service.

Note: For more details about the external donor flow, see Get started with Fundraising.

  5. Upload a Background. You can drag and drop a file from your computer or select Upload file to browse and select your image.

    • Recommended dimensions: 1280 x 780 pixels. Accepted types: JPG, PNG, GIF.

  6. Upload a Badge. You can drag and drop a file from your computer or select Upload file to browse and select your image.

    • This can be a custom icon to represent your fundraising community, or simply use a version of your company logo.

    • Recommended dimensions: 130 x 120 pixels. Accepted types: JPG, PNG, GIF.

  7. Enter a name in the Name of Fundraising Community field. This will appear on your Explore Fundraisers page.

  8. Enter and format a Explore Fundraisers Description.

    • This can include company goals, fundraising policies, or calls to action. This will be seen only by internal users on Explore Fundraisers.

  9. Determine whether to hide or show the total funds raised so far this year on Explore Fundraisers. Only USD is available.

  10. Enable Featured Fundraiser to display a selected fundraiser on your community's Explore Fundraisers page.

    • To set a featured fundraiser, select Select a fundraiser. Search for and select the desired fundraiser.

Note: If the Featured Fundraiser toggle is off, if there is no selected fundraiser, or if the selected fundraiser has expired, the Featured Fundraiser section of the Explore Fundraisers page will be hidden.

  11. Select Save.
