Record Individual Activity settings

Individual activities are personal volunteering efforts not tied to a team or company volunteer opportunity. Employees can enter individual activities from the Record Hours page in the CSRconnect community.

Admins can configure their community’s Record Individual Activity settings from CSRconnect Admin Portal, Volunteer, Record Individual Activity.

You must have the Can Manage Volunteer Settings permission. See Roles and permissions.

Tip: Custom text fields cannot be automatically translated, but text fields on this page support custom translations.

  1. Use the toggle at the top of the page to enable or turn off the Record Individual Activity feature.

  2. Under Upload Photo, you can upload an image to appear on the Record Hours page of your community.

    • Recommended size: 1024 x 780 px

  3. Under Custom Text, you can enter text to appear on the Record Hours page of your community. 600 characters maximum.

  4. Under Charity - Add your own, you can allow employees to add their own charity when recording individual activity if they cannot find their charity in your community's list.

  5. You can select custom question sets to include in the Record Individual Activity flow.

    • Under Custom Question Set, you can select a general custom question set employees must answer when recording individual activities.

    • Under CRA Question Set, you can select a custom question set for a CRA survey that employees must answer when recording individual activities.

    Note: Your Customer Success Manager can set up custom question sets for you. For more about this feature, see Custom Question Sets.

  6. To require CRA approval, select Enable CRA Approval after selecting a CRA question set. Admins will have to approve CRA requests from the CRA Manager or from the Approvals Manager. If this setting is not checked, CRA requests will be auto-approved and will not have to be reviewed.

  7. Choose whether to enable Types, Categories, and Tags. For each:

    • Enter a Custom Name.

    • Under Tag Set, select the desired tag set.

      Note: A tag set is the list of options available when selecting types, categories, or tags. Your Customer Success Manager configures tag sets for you.

    • For types and categories, you can require employees to select at least one option when recording individual activity.

    • For types and categories, you can limit employees to select only one option when recording individual activity.

    • Enter a Description. This will display when employees are prompted to select their activity’s types, categories, or tags.

  8. If enabled, Disclaimer requires employees to agree to a disclaimer when they record individual activities.

    • To enable, select the toggle and enter your custom disclaimer text.

  9. In communities with segmentation, you can copy over the current settings to other segments.

    • Select Apply to Segments.

    • Select the segment(s) that will inherit these settings and select Apply.

    • Check the segment(s) again to confirm, then select Confirm and Apply.

  10. Select Save Changes.
