My Volunteering

My Volunteering allows an employee to view their past and upcoming volunteer activity.

To access this page, select Volunteer, then My Volunteering. You will see summary values at the top of the page. Depending on your organization's settings, you may see tabs for Events, Projects, Idealist, Individual Activities, and Grants.

Summary Values

The following values display across the top of the My Volunteering page:

  • All Time Hours: This indicates the total number of volunteer hours that an employee has ever logged within the community, both towards team events and towards their individual activities.

    This value will only calculate hours for events or activities that have occurred in the past and will not include future projected hours.

  • Total Hours YTD: This indicates the total number of volunteer hours that an employee has logged within the community for that given calendar year, both toward team events and toward their individual activities.

    This value will only calculate hours for events or activities that have occurred in the past and will not include future projected hours.

  • Grants Processed YTD: If your community has a volunteer grant program, this indicates the total number of grant dollars processed for the current calendar year.

Events

See Events for a list of your event participation. By default, the list displays your upcoming events. Use Filter by to view all events or only past events.

To view all events and shifts you are currently waitlisted for, select Show Waitlists.

To download a summary of your event participation in a CSV spreadsheet file, select Export Summary.

To modify your participation in an event, select Edit.

Projects

See Events for a list of your project participation. By default, the list displays your upcoming and active projects. Use Filter by to view all projects or only past projects.

To modify your participation in an event, select Edit.

Idealist

If VolunteerMatch, from Idealist, has been enabled for your community, you can see your VolunteerMatch opportunities from My Volunteering, Idealist. See Participate in a VolunteerMatch Opportunity.

Individual Activities

In the Individual Activities tab, you can see your individual activities, which are personal volunteering efforts not tied to a team or company volunteer opportunity.

Your individual activities display on this page with basic information about your participation. Select the Edit icon to modify your activity.

Select Export Summary to download a summary of your activities as a CSV spreadsheet file.

Volunteer Grants

If your community has volunteer grants enabled, you can see your volunteer grant activity from My Volunteering. This tab may have a custom name for your community.

Tip: To encourage volunteer grant applications, My Volunteering will also highlight when the employee's volunteer activity qualifies for an active volunteer grant program.
