Multiple Locale Support

You can display web page and email content to your constituents in their own language with Multiple Locale support.

Note: Contact Blackbaud to enable Multiple Locale support.

In addition to language translations, display of addresses, currency, and date formatting can render according to the conventions of the locale.

Although a default locale is set for your site, visitors and constituents can use a drop-down menu on the pages they are viewing to switch to their preferred locale. Only selected locales display. For example, if your site is configured for United States English and United States Spanish, the options for Canadian French or Canadian English locales are not available.

You can customize some content (such as the names of fields on forms, button labels, and descriptions) using the locale-specific tabs on configuration and edit pages in the Administrator interface.

You can also use conditionals in a Content Editor (WYSIWYG) block to set discrete chunks of translated content to display for a specific locale and remain hidden for all others. See Using Multiple Locale Conditionals .
