Edit a Gift

In web view, you can edit gift information directly from a gift's record, including its amount, gift date, subtype, post status, post date, splits, soft credits, and fundraiser credits. You can also update its donor, acknowledgement status, attachments, and custom fields.

• Gift Details

• Gift Fundraising Details, such as its campaign, fund, or appeal

• Donor

• Soft Credits

• Fundraisers

• Acknowledgements and Receipts

• Attachments

• Custom Fields

• Recurring Gift Status

• Stock/Property Gifts

To edit these details, select Edit, Gift details from the gift record. What you can edit depends on the gift's status:

• If the gift hasn't posted, you can edit everything, including the amount, gift date, post date, and subtype.

• If the gift has posted, you can edit splits and fundraiser credits.

• If a payment transaction is linked to the gift, you can edit the gift date, post date, and post status.
